At a Place at the Beach III you can swim in the indoor or outdoor pool, slip down a waterslide, fish, or skin dive. Boating, deep sea fishing, and waterskiing are also available within two miles. Five miles away, the Olympus Dive Center offers a scuba diving shop and daily charters. Golfers will find 12 18-hole courses in the area. Also, be sure to visit Fort Macon, a restored Civil War fort. Credit card needed at check in for incidentals.

Relax in a very clean, comfortable and stylishly furnished one, two, or three bedroom apartments with lovely views of beautiful landscaping. All apartments are carpeted, air conditioned, and equipped with full kitchens with dishwashers. Some have microwaves and a washer and dryer. So come and enjoy the special southern hospitality of A Place at the Beach III. You and your family and friends will have a vacation to remember for a lifetime. Please do not contact the resort with requests for a unit changes or upgrades. They will not accept any requests for upgrades or moves.
Airport Location
New Bern, NC - EWN (30 Miles)
The nearest airport is in New Bern, 30 miles away. Take Highway 70 East to Morehead City. Cross the bridge and causeway and continue to the traffic light in Atlantic Beach. Turn Left onto Fort Macon Road (Highway 58 S) and continue forward to the resort. The check-in office is on-site. Please call the office at (843) 272-7376, option "0" with questions.

Arrivals outside check-in hours can call (843) 626-4101 to get the lockbox code. Your arrival packet will have your name, unit number, instructions, and keys.
The outdoor pool is seasonal. The indoor pool and beach access are available year-round.
Prior to travel, RCI recommends contacting your host resort as well as local, state and federal websites for advisories that may impact your travel or vacation experience.
Security deposit required upon check-in at the resort.
Resort cannot honor unit upgrades or moves.
Credit card imprint required upon check-in at the resort.
The resort does not assign unit numbers and places guests into the units they reserved through RCI. Three-bedroom units are located at 3401 S. Ocean Blvd, with no elevator access. Check-in is at 4525 S. Ocean Blvd.
Please do not contact the resort with requests for unit changes or upgrades, as these requests will not be honored. Do not call the resort for unit number assignments.
